I’ve always jested that the word “grateful” should be spelled “great-full”, as I think that more accurately describes the feeling of the adjective. As we approach Thanksgiving this week, many are focused on gratitude and thankfulness. For me personally, I make a point to focus on gratitude every day. As our speaker Colette Carlson says, “Gratitude not only transforms how we see ourselves, but the way we view and interact with people around us.”
Focusing on gratitude gives me perspective. In the daily buzz of work and life, and the challenges that accompany it all, there is always something for which to be grateful. It’s a mindset. I’ve shared the link below to Colette’s recent article on how to stand out when showing appreciation to your customers. I hope it sparks an idea or two as we enter the holiday season. May your Thanksgiving (and every day) be filled with abundance.
